Senior Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers and Superintendents in managing ground-up construction projects
• Coordinate project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and drawings
• Track project schedules, budgets, and milestones to ensure timely delivery
• Assist in subcontractor coordination and communication across trades
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and company safety policies
• Participate in site meetings, inspections, and progress reporting
• Maintain accurate project records and assist with closeout documentation
• Review plans and specifications to identify potential issues and support resolution

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
• 4–8+ years of experience with a general contractor on ground-up construction projects
• Experience in multifamily, commercial, or public works construction required
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and documentation
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and job site compliance
• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project)
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
