The position is limited to 2 years.

Your Role

Main Activities

• Project management of publicly funded research projects in thematically selected technology and application fields at international and national level, especially in the research area of microelectronics and aircraft technology
• Coordination and organization of contributions from internally involved development departments, coordination of cooperation between Infineon locations, and independent creation of project reports at national and European level
• Design, coordination, and achievement of project goals at consortium and partner level, documentation of project results for several ongoing funding projects
• Presentation of research results from the funding projects at project meetings, audits, technical conferences, and to project sponsors and funding bodies
• Initiation and application for national and international research projects with partners along the value chain, from research institutes to end-users
• Participation in consortium formation, partner selection, and budgeting for projects to be applied for, and independent creation of project applications, as well as coordination of activities for the exploitation of project results with relevant internal and external stakeholders
• Support of selected Infineon technical departments in selecting innovative research topics in connection with public funding announcements

Your Profile

Qualifications and Skills that will help you succeed

• Successfully completed technical studies in electrical engineering, physics, natural sciences, engineering, or comparable
• At least 3-5 years of experience in project management of publicly funded projects, preferably in application and technology fields relevant to Infineon such as semiconductors, power electronics, aviation, and artificial intelligence
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of innovation management for the preparation of funding projects
• Enthusiasm and knowledge in initiating technical projects with various partners/customers
• Experience in dealing with interdisciplinary interest groups and enjoyment of networking heterogeneous expert groups within the company
• Willingness to travel at national and European level (approx. 1-2 per month)
• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
