Senior Project Manager (3-month Project - potential ongoing role)

About the Role

A well-established construction and civil contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Registered Builder to deliver a 3‑month project in Alice Springs, with the potential for an ongoing senior role for the right candidate. This is a confidential opportunity suited to an experienced construction professional who can step into a project, take control, and ensure delivery on time, on budget, and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

You will take ownership of the project from commencement through to completion, including:

• Project programming and scheduling
• Managing site supervisors, trades, and subcontractors
• Procurement and supplier coordination
• Budget and cost control
• Client liaison and reporting
• WHS and quality compliance
• Problem solving and keeping the project on schedule

About You

You are an experienced Project Manager or Registered Builder who:

• Has a trade background (Carpentry or similar)
• Can confidently manage subcontractors and site teams
• Understands project budgets, variations, and contracts
• Is organised, practical, and solution‑focused
• Can commit to an initial 3‑month project
• Is open to ongoing work if the project is delivered successfully
