Senior Project Manager – Active Directory Security Transformation (Red Forest / PAM) (m/w/d)

About the Role

End-to-end responsibility for the Red Forest/AD Security Transformation Project.

Responsibilities

• Planning, control, and reporting including milestones, risks, and budget
• Management and moderation of stakeholders (IT, Security, Business Units, Management)
• Content leadership of the architecture (Red Forest, Tiering Model, Privileged Access)
• Orchestration of a multi-tenant environment (AD, Entra ID, Cross-Tenant)
• Control of the introduction of PAM as well as PAW and JIT/JEA concepts
• Ensuring the migration of privileged identities and authorization models
• Leadership of a hybrid team (internal, Microsoft, integrators)
• Acceptance of central deliverables (architecture, runbooks, cutover, operations)

Qualifications

• Project leadership in AD migrations / security transformations
• Experience with Red Forest / ESAE / Tier-0 Hardening
• Deep understanding of the Microsoft Tiering Model (Tier 0/1/2)
• Experience with PAM solutions (CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Delinea, Microsoft PIM/PAM)
• Know-how in hybrid identities (AD DS & Entra ID, Multi-Tenant)
• Experience in complex enterprise environments (Multi-Forest, regulated)
• Interface knowledge IAM, SIEM (Sentinel), Defender for Identity
• Management of large, mixed project teams (internal/external)
• Confident handling of classic & agile methods (PRINCE2, PMI, Scrum)
• German (C1) and English (B2+)
