Senior Project Manager - Agile Environments (Remote)

Our client is seeking an accomplished and dynamic Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in managing complex projects within agile methodologies. This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to lead cross-functional teams from anywhere. You will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of critical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities: Lead and manage multiple complex projects from initiation to closure using agile principles. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocation, and budget management. Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies. Communicate project status, updates, and key decisions effectively to stakeholders at all levels. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, promoting continuous improvement. Manage project scope, change requests, and ensure adherence to project objectives. Oversee the procurement and management of external vendors and contractors as needed. Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations. Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members. Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and methodologies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree or PMP/Agile certification (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP) is a plus. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 3 years focused on agile environments. Demonstrated success in leading complex, cross-functional projects. Proficiency in project management software and agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Asana). Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and various project management frameworks. Excellent leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and team members. Experience in a remote-first or distributed team setting is highly advantageous.
