About the Role

The Company is in need of a Senior Project Manager and Vice President of Operations with a strong background in civil construction. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in heavy highway, site work, underground utilities, and paving projects. This role requires a leader with a history of success in managing teams and projects, and who can contribute to the company's excellent culture. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in civil construction, a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field, and a stable work history with demonstrated success in progressive leadership roles.

Key responsibilities for the Senior PM / VP of Operations include overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of large and complex civil construction projects, as well as managing and mentoring project teams. The role demands excellent communication skills, a strong leadership presence, and the ability to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The candidate should be adept at problem-solving, decision-making, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Experience in strategic planning, business development, and client relationship management is also highly valued.
