What is it like to be a Maintenance Project Manager at Boccard Dunkerque? At Boccard Dunkerque, being a Maintenance Project Manager means, above all, loving the field and being based directly on the client site. You will support the proper execution of projects with our clients in petrochemicals. To help you carry out the projects, you can rely on your team consisting of a deputy, a preparer and your operational team (site manager, boilermaker, fitter, mechanic, etc.).

Responsibilities

What are the concrete missions?

  • You manage the dedicated execution teams and act as the client contact for your affairs:
    • Set up all necessary human and material resources to complete the works and manage subcontracting,
    • Create a detailed work schedule,
    • Develop and/or assist with the technical and financial offers (studies, prefabrication, assembly, production downtime, maintenance),
    • Ensure project/contract management with financial tracking, centralize and consolidate monthly reports,
    • Participate in field interventions during annual maintenance and improvement projects.
    • Provide support to maintenance technicians on site.
    • Contribution to regulatory checks and certain maintenance-specific topics.
    • Maintenance knowledge capture: writing operating procedures in safety
    • Lead business meetings and conduct HSE audits.

Frequent travel to client sites is to be expected; a company car will be provided.

Your Manager

It’s the Head of the Petrochemistry division, David Godart, who has been with Boccard for about twenty years. Motivated to grow his activity, he is keen to support your onboarding. Support services are also available to ensure smooth operation.

Qualifications

What are the required skills?

  • Education: bac+3 in industrial maintenance or equivalent (electrotechnical basics and technical specialization).
  • You have at least 10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • You have solid knowledge in the maintenance sector, ideally in industries based in Hauts-de-France and Dunkerque.
  • General skills: solid Excel and IT skills, project management, knowledge of norms and regulations, multi-subject management.
  • Hard skills: mechanical skills are required; strong technical knowledge in metallurgy (e.g., boiler making and welding). In addition, experience in business and budget management is required. Solid knowledge in electrical engineering, understanding of industrial process systems.
  • Soft skills: good interpersonal skills are important as you will communicate with many stakeholders: clients, suppliers, and internal colleagues. Motivation, adaptability, flexibility, humility, courage, team spirit and field experience will be real assets for this role.
