Role Overview

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overall planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of large-scale construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget, quality standards, and safety regulations. The role involves managing project teams, coordinating with clients and consultants, and overseeing all site operations from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

Lead end-to-end project planning, scheduling, and execution of residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. Develop project schedules, work breakdown structures, and construction methodologies. Ensure projects are delivered within approved timelines, cost budgets, and quality standards.

Site & Construction Management

Manage day-to-day site operations including manpower, subcontractors, materials, and equipment. Ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and safety standards. Monitor construction progress and resolve technical and operational issues at site.

Commercial & Contract Management

Oversee quantity surveying, subcontractor billing, client billing, and cost monitoring. Conduct rate analysis, material reconciliation, and project cost analysis. Manage contract administration including variation orders, deviation orders, and EOT claims.

Project Monitoring & Reporting

Track project progress and prepare periodic reports on cost, schedule, and resource utilization. Ensure proper documentation and reporting of project milestones and financial performance.

Stakeholder Coordination

Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and statutory authorities for approvals and project coordination. Maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong expertise in project management, construction planning, and site execution. Knowledge of high-rise buildings, industrial projects, infrastructure works, and structural construction systems. Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, and project management tools. Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.

Experience & Qualification

Qualification: B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering. Experience: 15+ years of experience in construction project management handling large-scale projects.
