Senior Project Manager

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects in **Enugu, Enugu, NG**. This role requires exceptional leadership, planning, and execution capabilities to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, control, and closure. This involves defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

The Senior Project Manager will develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets. You will lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment. Key responsibilities include identifying and managing project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring effective communication among all project stakeholders. You will track project progress, prepare regular status reports, and conduct project review meetings. The ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize effectively is essential.

This position demands strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills, as well as the ability to influence decision-making at all levels. You will ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards and client expectations. Experience with various project management methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid, is crucial. You will also be responsible for managing vendor relationships and ensuring contract compliance. The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. A Master's degree or PMP certification is highly preferred. Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in project management, with a significant portion in a senior capacity. Demonstrated success in managing large-scale, complex projects from inception to completion. Strong knowledge of project management principles, tools, and techniques. Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively. Experience with risk management and quality assurance processes. Proven ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
