Our client, a dynamic and growing conglomerate, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to spearhead business development initiatives in **Yola, Adamawa, NG**. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with a proven ability to identify, develop, and execute new business opportunities and projects. You will be responsible for managing the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept and feasibility studies through to execution and successful delivery, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
Key responsibilities include conducting market research and analysis to identify potential growth areas and new ventures. You will develop comprehensive business cases, project plans, and financial models for new initiatives. This involves leading cross-functional teams, coordinating efforts between departments such as operations, finance, marketing, and legal, to ensure seamless project execution. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field, with a Master's degree or MBA being a strong asset. A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in project management, with a significant focus on business development, strategic planning, or new venture creation, is required. Strong financial acumen, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential. Proven leadership capabilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams, are critical. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are necessary to effectively engage with a wide range of stakeholders. Experience in managing complex, multi-faceted projects from inception to completion is a must. PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable. You should have a deep understanding of market dynamics and a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities within the **Yola, Adamawa, NG** region and beyond.
