Summary

Are you a seasoned project professional with a deep understanding of the financial services landscape? Our client is looking for a strategic and results-driven Senior Project Manager to oversee their portfolio of work and lead large-scale programs from conceptualization to successful close-out. This role is pivotal in achieving strategic objectives and delivering tangible business benefits through expert project execution and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Project Delivery: Track and drive implementation plans, manage project systems, and ensure all deliverables align with business objectives.
• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders to investigate project feasibility, define scope, and contribute to robust business cases.
• Stakeholder & Resource Management: Identify and assign resources (RACI), manage expectations through clear SLAs, and mobilize project teams to foster innovation.
• Risk & Financial Control: Proactively identify and mitigate risks, compile project budgets, and maintain sound financial controls to minimize expenditure.
• Reporting & Evaluation: Provide regular progress updates and conduct thorough post-project assessments to improve future impact.

Requirements

• Education: A relevant B-degree is essential (Industrial Engineering or BCom Informatics preferred).
• Certification: A relevant Project Management Certification is highly desirable.
• Experience:
  • 10–15 years within a Financial Services environment (Advisory services experience is a plus).
  • At least 5 years in a dedicated Project Management position.
  • 5 years of business and process analysis experience.
