Our client, a leading construction firm, is seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to oversee significant civil construction projects in the Upington, Northern Cape, ZA region. This role demands strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of all phases of civil engineering construction.

You will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall planning, execution, and delivery of projects.
• Manage project teams, coordinate subcontractors, and liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
• Develop detailed project schedules and manage resource allocation.
• Implement robust risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues.
• Oversee contract administration, change order management, and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and exceptional organizational skills.
• Deep understanding of all phases of civil engineering construction.
• Thorough understanding of civil construction techniques, materials, and safety regulations.
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, water systems, or earthworks is highly desirable.
