About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex development initiatives from start to finish. In this role, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You'll work closely with internal teams and external partners, guiding interdisciplinary teams and driving project success in a dynamic, tech-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Take responsibility for planning and executing complex development projects, managing time, budget, and quality goals.
• Stakeholder Management: Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders—engineering, production, procurement, customers, authorities, suppliers, and public institutions.
• Results and Delivery Focus: Ensure project targets are reached and performance standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and proactively manage technical, organizational, and schedule risks.
• Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present clear and insightful status, progress, and decision reports to management and clients.
• Team Leadership: Lead and inspire cross-functional project teams to work collaboratively and successfully.
• Change and Escalation Management: Manage project changes in a structured way and handle critical situations with confidence.

Requirements

• Completed technical degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related)
• At least 8 years of project management experience, especially with complex engineering or technology projects
• Proven track record leading demanding projects and working with high-profile clients and public institutions
• Excellent communication, prioritization, and decision-making skills at the management level
• Solid experience with both traditional and agile project management methods (e.g., PMI, IPMA, PRINCE2, Scrum)
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
• Structured, solution-oriented work style with high responsibility and resilience
• Willingness to undergo required security clearance under applicable regulations
