Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (SPM) to lead complex infrastructure and construction projects within the Infrastructure Development and Special Projects program. The SPM will provide strategic and day‑to‑day leadership across multiple projects, ensuring successful delivery through all phases of the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day project management leadership on an average of two (2) concurrent projects
- Oversee projects through all phases: planning, design, construction, and closeout
- Manage projects with durations of 3–5 years and budgets ranging from $3M to $50M
- Lead and coordinate project teams, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget
- Collaborate closely with Assistant Project Managers (APMs), regardless of organizational affiliation
- Provide oversight and mentorship to assigned APMs on larger projects (typically over $15M)
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, standards, and permitting requirements
- Serve as a key point of contact for stakeholders, agencies, and multidisciplinary teams
Project Types
- Infrastructure development and heavy highway projects
- Demolition projects (with or without abatement)
- Hazardous materials (hazmat) abatement projects
- Historic and full site development projects (preferred)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in construction management
- Proven experience managing projects valued at $7.5M or greater
- Demonstrated ability to manage the full project lifecycle, including planning, budgeting, execution, and closeout
- Strong experience with infrastructure, demolition, and hazmat abatement projects
- Knowledge of utility and roadway construction projects
- Experience working in urban environments
- Proven ability to navigate complex, multi‑disciplinary permitting processes
Certifications (Required – One of the Following)
- Registered Architect (RA)
- Professional Engineer (PE)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
- LEED Accreditation

$145,600.00 – $166,400.00 per year
