Senior Project Manager Construction (m/w/d)

About Us

For a leading European real estate company, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager Construction (m/f/d) with a focus on logistics and industrial real estate.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and implementing demanding new construction, conversion, and CAPEX projects within a Germany-wide real estate portfolio. The focus is on technically oriented logistics properties, commercial parks, and light industrial spaces.

Responsibilities

• Project leadership and management of construction, conversion, and revitalization projects in the field of logistics and industrial real estate
• Responsibility for CAPEX measures, tenant fit-outs, technical optimizations, and modernization of existing properties
• Management and coordination of internal and external project stakeholders, including planners, specialist engineers, general contractors, service providers, and authorities
• Ensuring the timely, high-quality, and cost-effective implementation of projects
• Review of plans, specifications, offers, costs, and invoices
• Support of projects from the early planning phase through tendering and awarding to handover
• Technical consulting for internal stakeholders, especially Asset Management, Property Management, and Investment Management
• Identification of optimization potential within the portfolio, particularly regarding technical standards, sustainability, and economic efficiency
• Regular reporting on project progress, budget, risks, and milestones

Profile

• Completed degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Technology, or a comparable technical qualification
• Several years of experience in project leadership or management of construction projects, ideally in the field of logistics, industrial, commercial, or light industrial real estate
• Good knowledge of the German construction industry and relevant technical regulations
• Experience in construction cost management, tendering and awarding processes, and managing external service providers
• Confident handling of complex project structures, budgets, schedules, and internal decision-making processes
• Technical understanding of building-specific requirements for logistics properties, such as hall areas, delivery access, fire protection, building services, ESG measures, or tenant fit-outs
• Strong communication and assertiveness skills, as well as a structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work
• Willingness to undertake project-related travel within Germany
• Very good German language skills and good English language skills
