JOB DESCRIPTION & MAIN TASKS

To support its growth, Yole Group is opening a Senior Project Manager position to strengthen its Custom Projects team. This department delivers dedicated studies across a wide range of topics within the semiconductor industry.

Directly reporting to the director of this activity, you will lead and coordinate high-value consulting projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for planning, managing, and delivering studies that combine market, technical, financial, marketing, and strategic analyses.

In this role, you will translate client needs into dedicated projects. To achieve your goals; you’ll have to mobilize and manage multidisciplinary teams to ensure the quality and relevance of project milestones and deliverables.

You’ll act as a key interface between our clients and Yole teams.

Location: HQ in Lyon, France is the preferred location for this position.

As Senior Project Manager, your main tasks will be:

• Leading and coordinating dedicated analyses following our customers requirements on a variety of topics in microelectronics industry: supply chain understanding, technology trends, market evolutions, etc… • Ensuring contract specifications • Building internal project team and hire external partners • Supporting and managing the teams during the projects • Establishing links between the analysts of the different divisions • Creating projects’ guidelines and setting up objectives • Tracking and supporting teams' actions - Desk research, interviews with various industrial players, networking - Creation of synthetic and efficient analysis materials (slides, models) for our customers • Monitoring project costs, profitability and time to meet defined budget and deadlines • Managing customer relationship all along the projects and presenting results, and insuring quality standards are met. • Participating in the development and qualification of a subcontractors’ network • Following-up of internal knowledge transfer from completed projects

The project manager is directly involved in the execution of the project. He/she will also be a support to commercial actions of the division.

Requirements

PROFILE

• Master’s degree in Business Administration OR a Master’s degree (University, Engineering school) in microelectronics/nanotechnologies or a related field

• +3/5 years of experience in market research and/or consulting

• Good awareness of the semiconductor industry and its ecosystem

• Capability to ensure customer’s expectations compliance and manage long term relationships

• Strong analytical skills and abilities to organize and present your findings

• Excellent relational skills

• Excellent English speaking/writing (minimum CECR - C1 / TOEIC 800); any additional language is a plus

• Autonomy, proactivity, time management and commitment are necessary
