About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a high-visibility Data Migration program for a major U.S client. The Project Manager will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, collaborating with cross-functional technical teams, ensuring adherence to timelines, managing risks, and driving governance across global delivery teams. This role will be fully onsite in Los Angeles and requires strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Execution

• Own end-to-end delivery of a large-scale Data Migration project across multiple platforms.
• Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive project plans, schedules, and migration roadmaps.
• Oversee day-to-day project activities, ensuring deliverables meet quality, scope, and timeline expectations.
• Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams across different time zones to ensure seamless execution.

Project Governance & Reporting

• Lead project governance activities, including weekly cadence calls, steering committee updates, and executive reporting.
• Prepare and present status reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to PMO standards, compliance guidelines, and documentation requirements.

Risk, Issue & Dependency Management

• Identify, track, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
• Drive mitigation plans, contingency strategies, and timely escalations as required.
• Ensure financial and operational risks are monitored and controlled throughout the project lifecycle.

Stakeholder & Team Management

• Manage a diverse team of 10+ resources across onsite and global delivery centres.
• Facilitate effective communication and alignment between business teams, technical teams, and leadership stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Operational & Delivery Excellence

• Define, monitor, and manage project milestones, critical paths, and delivery checkpoints.
• Ensure quality assurance measures and data validation steps are embedded in the migration lifecycle.
• Support change management, UAT coordination, and production deployment activities.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Project Management, with strong experience in SAP and Data Migration projects.
• Proven experience managing team sizes of 10+ across global delivery models (onsite/offshore).
• Strong understanding of data migration methodologies, ETL processes, and data validation frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi‑phase programs in fast‑paced enterprise environments.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, CSM, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and trends to support decision‑making.
• Ideal to have experience in preparing SOW, not mandatory.
