About the role

Our client is seeking a highly accomplished Senior Project Manager to lead critical digital transformation initiatives. This role will be based in Calabar, Cross River, NG , with a hybrid work arrangement allowing for a blend of remote and in-office collaboration. You will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects that enhance our client's technological capabilities and operational efficiency. This involves managing cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to project scope, budget, and timelines, and effectively communicating progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities: Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop and manage detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets. Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Track project progress, report on key metrics, and implement corrective actions as needed. Ensure the quality and timely delivery of project outputs. Facilitate project closure, including lessons learned and post-implementation reviews. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in project management and digital transformation. Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management methodologies within the organization. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable. Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a significant focus on digital transformation or IT projects. Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects from initiation to closure. Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana). Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Experience working in a hybrid work environment.
