Senior Project Manager - Electronic Systems HMI

Irving Knight are partnered with a leading global tech company specializing in the manufacture of electronic components including connectors, switches, HMI solutions, and circuit protection looking for an experienced technical leader to support with strategic customer projects. You will be reporting directly into their Chief Technology Officer.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the main technical liaison for both internal and external partners, specializing in electronics and software development.
• Provide overall technical leadership and coordination for sophisticated, customer-tailored projects involving HMI and electronic systems, guiding them from initial concept to series production readiness.
• Spearhead requirements management by defining, harmonizing, and overseeing system specifications as well as managing changes to requirements.
• Foster effective collaboration and alignment between mechanical, software, and systems engineering teams.
• Proactively identify and address technical risks in advanced HMI system projects and coordinate with external development partners to mitigate them.
• Guarantee prompt and dependable project delivery, ensuring successful transition to industrialization.

Must Have Requirements

• MSc or BSc in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Software Engineering, supplemented with courses in systems engineering and project management
• Demonstrated experience in electronic systems engineering and technical project leadership
• Experience working with external high-tech development partners
• Willingness to travel to the facility to work alongside engineering and technical teams
