About the role
The Role
Nebius is building several new industry verticals to expand beyond AI-native cloud customers into enterprise segments through repeatable, scalable solutions.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager - Industry Verticals to establish structure, planning discipline, and transparent reporting across the verticals portfolio. The primary mission of this role is to create a clear, reliable operating rhythm that enables visibility, alignment, and predictable execution across multiple parallel initiatives.
- Hands‑on project management focused on planning, tracking, coordination, and reporting – not business ownership or strategy definition.
- Ensure initiatives across Physical AI and Robotics, Media and Entertainment, Retail and E‑commerce, and Financial Services are clearly structured, properly tracked, and consistently reported, with risks surfaced early and decisions documented.
- Remote work from the US (East Coast preferred) or Europe.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain a single source of truth for all vertical initiatives, including goals, owners, milestones, and status.
- Structure initiatives into clear workstreams with defined timelines and accountable owners.
- Establish and run weekly and monthly planning and review cadences.
- Track cross‑functional milestones, risks, and dependencies, escalating issues early.
- Provide clear, objective reporting and concise executive summaries for leadership.
- Align stakeholders across Growth, Product, Marketing, Partnerships, and Sales on priorities and deliverables.
- Translate discussions into documented action items, owners, and deadlines.
- Clarify scope, prevent initiative drift, and support structured decision‑making.
- Lead select cross‑functional projects with defined scope, milestones, and success metrics.
- Create and maintain a trusted portfolio dashboard that enables leadership visibility at a glance.
- Standardize reporting and portfolio management processes to ensure predictability and transparency.
- Reduce ambiguity across workstreams by driving clarity in scope, ownership, and timelines.
- Proactively surface risks early to minimize last‑minute escalations.
- Ensure cross‑functional initiatives progress against defined milestones with structured, transparent execution.
Requirements
- 7+ years in Project Management, Program Management, Strategy and Operations, or similar roles in B2B tech.
- Strong experience managing cross‑functional initiatives with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering stakeholders.
- Proven ability to build planning systems and tracking mechanisms from scratch.
- Excellent written communication skills – concise briefs, status reports, and structured updates.
- Strong organizational discipline and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate in a fast‑moving environment with multiple parallel priorities.
- A structured and methodical working style.
- Ability to bring order to complex, ambiguous environments.
- Comfort following up consistently and holding stakeholders accountable to timelines.
- Low ego, collaborative approach with high execution discipline.
Preferred Qualifications (Bonus)
- Strong proficiency with AI tools and AI agent development platforms (e.g., Claude CoWork/Code, Cursor, etc.), with the ability to act as an automation builder and agent orchestrator to unlock meaningful operational leverage across verticals.
- Experience in cloud, AI infrastructure, or enterprise technology.
- Experience working in a matrix organization across geographies.
- Familiarity with portfolio management tools and reporting frameworks.

Compensation
- Competitive US salaries ranging from $235k – $285k OTE (On Target Earnings) + Equity based on experience.
