Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Project Manager to oversee complex infrastructure projects in Kano, Kano, NG. This role demands a proven leader with exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end management of projects, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
• Defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
• Identifying and managing project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Strong stakeholder management is crucial, requiring clear and consistent communication with clients, vendors, internal departments, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a senior role managing large infrastructure projects.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Expertise in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and resource allocation.
• Strong leadership, team management, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
• Familiarity with construction, civil engineering, or related industries.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
