Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead significant infrastructure development projects. This role demands exceptional leadership, planning, and execution capabilities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for overseeing all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, control, and closure. This includes defining project scope, objectives, developing detailed project plans, managing resources (human and material), identifying and mitigating risks, and stakeholder management. Strong experience in managing large-scale construction or infrastructure projects is essential. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, and a deep understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2). This position requires a dedicated individual who can effectively manage complex projects on-site and drive successful outcomes. You will be instrumental in driving key developments within the Jos, Plateau, NG region and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Lead and manage project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Oversee project execution, monitoring progress, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Manage project budgets and ensure financial accountability.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Communicate project status, progress, and challenges to stakeholders regularly.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage vendor and contractor relationships.
• Facilitate project closure activities, including lessons learned and final reporting.

Your leadership will be critical in navigating challenges and ensuring the successful realization of strategic development goals for our client. The on-site nature of this role ensures direct oversight and engagement with project activities.
