Our client is looking for a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee critical IT infrastructure projects in Kano, Kano, NG. This role is essential for planning, executing, and closing complex IT initiatives, including network upgrades, server deployments, data center migrations, and cybersecurity enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables
• Developing comprehensive project plans
• Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
• Working closely with IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes
• Risk assessment and mitigation
• Stakeholder management
• Vendor coordination
• Ensuring adherence to IT governance policies and industry best practices

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure technologies, including hardware, software, networking, cloud computing, and cybersecurity principles
• Proven experience in managing large-scale IT infrastructure projects
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile
• Experience using project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira)

Education & Certifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Professional project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL are strongly preferred.
