Senior Project Manager – Metal Door Specialist

About

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a metal door specialist company, overseeing 10 live projects, each valued over £1.5m. This is a hands-on role based in Stockport, where you will be regularly visiting sites, managing teams, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 10+ projects over £1.5m
• Provide people management and leadership to site teams
• Regularly visit sites to monitor progress, quality, and compliance
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and clients
• Ensure projects meet budgets, timelines, and quality standards
• Report to senior management and stakeholders

Requirements

• Experience with main contractors on live projects
• Proven people management experience
• Hands-on, site-focused approach – not just office-based
• Ideally experience with metal doors / door installation projects, or general construction experience is acceptable
• Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills
