Insight Global is seeking a driven and experienced Senior Manager, Project Engineering to lead a multidisciplinary engineering team and oversee the successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects in the rail industry. This role is ideal for a strategic, hands‑on leader who excels in project management, people development, and cross‑functional collaboration.

The Senior Manager, Project Engineering will be responsible for guiding engineering staff, executing project delivery from planning to close‑out, managing financial performance, and ensuring projects meet all quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. This position requires strong decision‑making abilities, leadership skills, commercial awareness, and the capability to operate in a fast‑paced technical environment.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 15+ years experience in civil engineering and projector or construction management
  • Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or related field (mechanical or electrical engineering)
  • Experience managing a team of engineers
  • Demonstrated experience with P&L management and financial oversight (grant approvals, bids, proposals)
  • Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects at once
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Willingness to travel to Maine 1x/month
  • Interested in long term development within the organization

Nice to Have Skills and Experience

  • P.Eng designation
  • PMP certification
  • Background in transportation, industrial, or infrastructure‑heavy environments (rail preferred)
  • Cross‑border or multi‑site projects
