Senior Project Manager (m/w/d)

About Us

For our "Operational Excellence and Projects" team, which works closely with the board, we are looking for a "Senior Project Manager (m/w/d)". In this key role, you will be responsible for the definition, implementation, and management of complex projects and will advise executive management in achieving efficiency, innovation, and budget goals. With your expertise in Lean Management and your ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, you will drive best practices and sustainable transformations.

Your Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the planning, control, and implementation of complex, company-wide initiatives with a focus on operational excellence and consistent application of Lean methods, 5S, and Value Stream approaches
• Definition, control, and implementation of projects and sub-projects
• Advising executive management on project goals and project plans. Analysis of content and methodological aspects to achieve efficiency and budget goals
• Leading project teams and managing individual functional areas across all hierarchical levels, including cross-functional communication and management of resources and budgets (cost management, conflict management, risk management, etc.)
• Promotion of best practices, standardization, and operational excellence across the entire company

Your Profile

• You hold a Master's degree and have at least 10 years of professional experience in consulting or an international industrial group with a focus on operational excellence in a comparable position; including at least 5 years in project management.
• You have proven experience in managing complex, cross-functional programs and projects with a focus on innovation, efficiency, and organizational design.
• You have sound knowledge in the field of Operations and Lean Management, particularly in optimizing, redesigning, or automating processes.
• You are open to international project assignments, including associated business trips.
• You have excellent presentation and moderation skills. Strong communication and teamwork skills across all hierarchical levels, combined with a high degree of independence, complete your profile.
• You are interested in taking on a further position in the medium term.
