The Senior Project Manager is a pivotal role focused on the management of Pre and Post Go-Live Transition Readiness initiatives. You will oversee site-specific project plans, ensure timely completion of deliverables, and foster collaboration with both client teams and internal stakeholders. You will implement the Transition Readiness Methodology, guiding local informatics teams to successfully transition ownership of EHR support, while also serving as a trusted advisor to clients.
Responsibilities
- Facilitating communication and maintaining strong relationships between your site and the Oracle Health Readiness Team.
- Developing and managing a tailored project plan and timeline to prepare local site Informatics for Post Go-Live success.
- Leading the execution of the Readiness Support Methodology at your site.
- Coordinating the Event Driven methodology with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborating with the Engagement Management Team on deployment schedules and relevant events.
- Coordinating site calls and event execution to ensure smooth operations.
- Tracking timelines for IMS updates and reporting on PGL events.
- Managing the Readiness Checklist effectively.
- Participating in internal scrums with Site Readiness counterparts.
- Identifying and managing site-specific risks and escalations appropriately.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, health informatics, or related field (required).
- Master's degree in health informatics, public health, business administration (MBA), or project management (preferred).
- A minimum of 5 years in healthcare IT or EHR implementation/project management (required).
- Experience managing EHR transitions or post-go-live optimization is strongly preferred.
- Experience in a hospital, healthcare system, or military/veteran environment is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Health/Cerner solutions, including installation and optimization (required).

- Strong understanding of Event-Driven Methodology (EDM).
- Analytical skills to assess current-state processes and provide strategic recommendations.
- Expertise in Oracle Health/Cerner solutions, including workflow configuration.

Disclaimer: This role may require compliance with applicable health mandates. Salary range in the US is $79,100 to $158,200 per annum, subject to your qualifications and experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, and generous paid time off amongst others.
