Senior Project Manager - Remote

Our client, a rapidly growing international technology firm, is seeking a highly accomplished and results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional projects from initiation to successful completion. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to impactful global initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale technology projects, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of project management methodologies. You will be responsible for defining project scope, developing detailed project plans, managing budgets, leading project teams, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning, execution, and closing of complex technology projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, budget management, and risk assessment. Manage project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment, often across distributed geographical locations. Facilitate effective communication among project team members, stakeholders, and executive leadership. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively. Monitor project progress against established baselines, taking corrective actions as needed. Ensure the quality and integrity of project deliverables. Manage project budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring financial objectives are met. Conduct project post-mortems and identify lessons learned to improve future project execution. Utilize project management software and tools to track progress, manage tasks, and report on project status. Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, managing expectations and ensuring buy-in. Stay current with project management best practices and emerging trends in technology and project delivery. Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and methodologies within the organization. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or PMP/Agile certification is highly desirable. Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in project management, with a significant focus on technology or software development projects. Proven experience in managing large-scale, complex projects with cross-functional teams. In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). Demonstrated experience in budget management, risk management, and stakeholder management. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project). Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and thrive in a remote work environment. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience in managing globally distributed teams is a significant advantage.
