We are seeking a Senior Project Manager for a 12-month contract (with an initial 6 months) with deep Rewards domain expertise to lead the delivery of complex, large-scale initiatives within the Rewards and Digital Channels space.

This role requires more than traditional project delivery. The successful candidate will operate in a digitally transforming, AI-influenced environment, combining strong execution capability with strategic thinking, leadership, and the ability to manage complexity across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications & Certifications

  • Relevant tertiary degrees (Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related)
  • PMP / PgMP / ACP / CAPM (PMI)
  • PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner
  • SAFe Lean Portfolio Management
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)

Required Experience (Non-Negotiable)

  • 8–10 years’ experience in Project Management with a strong delivery track record
  • Proven experience delivering complex, strategic Rewards-related projects
  • Hands-on experience with: Rewards Programme lifecycle management , Rewards models and rule configuration and Partnerships and onboarding strategies
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, complex, and evolving environments
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Experience managing cross-functional and distributed teams
  • Ability to implement governance frameworks, reporting structures, and delivery standards

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple large-scale, complex projects
  • Establish and manage project governance frameworks and delivery structures
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, including milestones and dependencies
  • Facilitate workshops with business, technical teams, and external partners
  • Track progress and provide consolidated reporting across all workstreams
  • Proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies (RAID)
  • Ensure alignment across business, IT, compliance, and operations
  • Engage, influence, and report to senior stakeholders and leadership
  • Manage vendors and external partners where applicable
  • Drive change management and adoption strategies

Deliverables include:

  • End-to-end project plans and delivery roadmaps
  • RAID logs with mitigation plans
  • Weekly and monthly status reports (RAG indicators)
  • Documented workshop outputs, decisions, and actions
  • Stakeholder communication and change management plans

Preferred Experience

  • Experience within financial services or insurance
  • Exposure to Rewards programmes and Data Analytics initiatives
  • Experience in digital transformation or AI-driven environments
