Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of strategic initiatives within our Rewards ecosystem.

This is not a traditional PM role — it is a high-impact, strategic position at the intersection of customer engagement, partnerships, data, and digital platforms. The successful candidate will play a key role in evolving and optimising Old Mutual’s Rewards programme, driving innovation and delivering measurable customer and business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex Rewards programmes, ensuring alignment to strategic objectives
• Define and establish project governance frameworks, including steering committees and delivery structures
• Develop and manage integrated project plans, including timelines, dependencies, and milestones
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across business, technology, data, compliance, and external partners
• Manage risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple workstreams
• Oversee partner onboarding and integration within the Rewards ecosystem
• Deliver executive-level reporting and insights to senior stakeholders
• Facilitate workshops and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups
• Ensure change management and adoption of new capabilities across the organisation
• Maintain full ownership of delivery performance (scope, time, cost, quality)

Critical Experience (Non-Negotiable)

• Proven experience delivering Rewards / Loyalty Programmes
• Deep understanding of:
  • Rewards models and benefit structures
  • Rule engines and programme changes
  • Partner ecosystems and onboarding
  • End-to-end Rewards programme lifecycle management
• 8–10+ years’ experience in Project / Programme Management
• Track record of delivering large, complex, strategic initiatives
• Experience in Financial Services or Insurance environments
• Strong exposure to Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies

Preferred Experience

• Experience delivering data-driven or analytics-enabled initiatives
• Exposure to customer engagement platforms or digital channels
• Experience working with multi-partner ecosystems (e.g. retail, travel, lifestyle partners)

Qualifications & Certifications

• Relevant degree (IT, Finance, Computer Science or similar)
• PMP / PRINCE2 / SAFe (or equivalent) – strongly preferred
• Agile certifications (Scrum Master, etc.) advantageous
