We are partnering with a leading client in Zurich to recruit an experienced Senior Project Manager (m/w/d) to lead a high-impact, enterprise-wide SDLC transformation program. This strategic initiative is reshaping how software is developed and delivered across the organization and accelerating the journey toward an AI-enabled future.

You will operate at the intersection of business and technology, working with international, cross-functional teams and engaging executive-level stakeholders to drive lasting organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Lead a CHF 15m+ transformation program to harmonize and modernize the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) across the enterprise
• Orchestrate cross-functional, international teams including Engineering, Architecture, Security, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Data/AI
• Drive executive stakeholder management, shaping decisions in governance forums and ensuring measurable business outcomes (time-to-market, quality, resilience)
• Plan and execute SDLC standards adoption and AI-readiness initiatives, in close collaboration with SDLC Change Leads across organizational units
• Create momentum and engagement through effective communication, internal branding, and targeted events
• Own end-to-end project controls, including scope, deliverables, budget, risks, dependencies, and reporting

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or a related field
• Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or IPMA)
• 7+ years of experience leading large-scale transformation or software delivery projects
• 4-6 years of experience in the banking / financial services environment
• Strong capability in stakeholder and executive-level communication
• Proven cross-functional and international project leadership experience
• Excellent problem-solving, coordination, and operational skills
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and moderation techniques
• Solid understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and organizational transformation
• Good knowledge of application development and programming fundamentals
• Strong exposure to modern SDLC and agile frameworks, including: SAFe, Scrum, DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines
• Team-oriented mindset with strong relationship-building skills
• Languages: Fluent English and German (mandatory). Spanish and Polish are a strong asset
