Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to lead complex software development initiatives. This role is critical in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of software projects within scope, budget, and timeline. You will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, stakeholder communication, risk management, and process improvement. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in Agile methodologies, a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), and exceptional leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing the end-to-end lifecycle of software development projects from initiation to closure.
• Developing detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget.
• Facilitating Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Managing and motivating project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks and issues proactively.
• Serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular project updates and managing expectations.
• Ensuring clear and consistent communication among project team members and stakeholders.
• Tracking project progress, performance, and deliverables using appropriate project management tools and techniques.
• Implementing and continuously improving project management processes and best practices.
• Conducting post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for future improvement.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a significant focus on software development projects.
• Proven experience managing complex projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• PMP, CSM, or other relevant project management certifications are highly desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a demanding environment.
