Senior Project Manager - Technology

Our client is looking for a highly experienced and strategic Senior Project Manager to lead complex technology initiatives within their organization. This role is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while driving critical projects to success. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing the full lifecycle of technology projects, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, control, and closure. You will be responsible for defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and resource requirements; developing detailed project plans; managing budgets; identifying and mitigating risks; and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality project outcomes. Responsibilities: Lead and manage the full lifecycle of complex technology projects. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Manage project execution, monitoring progress, and mitigating risks. Ensure timely and successful delivery of high-quality project outcomes. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders and teams. Manage project budgets and control project costs effectively. Apply Agile and/or Waterfall project management methodologies as appropriate. Conduct project reviews, status reporting, and post-project evaluations. Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members in a remote setting. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on technology projects. Proven experience managing complex, large-scale projects from inception to completion. Expertise in Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall project management methodologies. Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and IT infrastructure. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable. Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project). Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to thrive in a fully remote work environment.
