Senior Projektmanager (m/w/d) Smart Building

Your Daily Responsibilities

In this role, you will assume technical responsibility for project management at our subsidiary – Quipped GmbH.

You will steer complex smart building and value enhancement projects through all project phases, providing technical structure, direction, and quality. You will act similarly to a classic real estate project controller, but with a strong focus on digital infrastructure, electrical engineering, and smart building solutions.

Disciplinary leadership is not the primary focus. Your technical authority, overview, and ability to guide projects and people content-wise are crucial.

Your Tasks:

• Holistic steering of smart building and value enhancement projects (costs, deadlines, qualities, risks)
• Technical coordination and quality assurance of project managers
• Steering projects through all phases: conception, planning, tendering, implementation, acceptance, handover
• Development and advancement of uniform project methods, processes, and standards
• Interface management between: construction, building technology, purchasing, sales, and operations
• Support for sales in presales topics (feasibility, budget frameworks, technical concepts)
• Moderation of project, construction, and steering meetings
• Ensuring structured project documentation, including change order and defect management
• Sparring partner for management on project-related and structural issues
• First point of contact for suppliers and cooperation partners, including responsibility for framework agreements

Your Competencies:

• Technical or real estate-related education/degree (e.g., electrical engineering, building technology, civil engineering, architecture, real estate management)
• Several years of experience in project steering of complex construction or technical projects
• Very good understanding of the interplay between construction, technology, and operations
• Experience in cost, schedule, and quality controlling at the project level
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style
• Confident demeanor towards clients, partners, and internal stakeholders
• Enjoyment of technical leadership, coaching, and knowledge transfer
• Proficient use of MS Office and common project management tools
• Willingness to travel within Germany for projects

Nice to have:

• Understanding of IT and network infrastructure in a building context
• Very good English skills, both written and spoken
