Senior Project Manager

About

For our well‑established Swiss client in the financial market infrastructure environment, we are currently looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager.

In this role, you will lead a large-scale transformation initiative to harmonize and modernize the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) across the enterprise. You will coordinate international, cross‑functional teams, manage senior stakeholders, and ensure the successful delivery of strategic outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a CHF 15m+ transformational project
• Orchestrate cross-functional teams (engineering, architecture, security, risk, compliance, operations, data/AI) across locations and entities to deliver expected outcomes
• Drive executive stakeholder management, shaping decisions in governance forums, and ensuring measurable business outcomes (time-to-market, quality, resilience)
• Plan and execute standards adoption and AI-readiness together with the SDLC Change Leads in the different organizational units
• Create momentum, inspire and foster engagement through clever communication, branding and events
• Own end-to-end project controls: deliverables, scope, budget, dependencies, risks, reporting

Your Profile

• More than 7+ years in leading transformational and software delivery projects
• Between 4 and 6 years in working in the banking industry
• Certification in PRINCE2 (PMP, IPMA)
• Very good relationship management and stakeholder management skills
• Fluency in English
• Fluency in German, Spanish or Polish are a plus
