Senior Property Accountant

About

Full-cycle property accountant with ownership of a defined portfolio. Reports to senior accounting leadership with visibility into financial reporting, technical accounting, and cross-functional collaboration with property management and operations.

What You'll Own

• Full month-end close including journal entries, accruals, and variance analysis
• Property operating statements and balance sheet reconciliations
• Tax and operating expense recovery billings
• Lease abstracting and review
• Financial reporting schedules and regulatory filing support
• Review of work prepared by junior accountants
• Collaboration with property management and collections on tenant matters

Profile

• CPA preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Real estate or property accounting background preferred
• Yardi experience a plus
• Strong GAAP knowledge
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines simultaneously
