Responsibilities

• Maintain integrity of financial information for assigned portfolio in compliance with GAAP
• Oversee all aspects of client accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, inventory management, and financial reporting
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Ensure quality control for financial reporting and transactions
• Prepare and monitor budget and forecast activities
• Track receivables, obligations, and risks
• Serve as a team lead

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related discipline) required; MBA preferred
• CPA (required) or have the test already scheduled
• 4+ years of accounting experience required; ideally public accounting
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX
• Knowledge of Yardi is a major plus
