Our client, a leader in the real estate investment landscape, is seeking a highly analytical Senior Property Acquisitions Analyst. This is a fully remote position, empowering you to work from anywhere in Nigeria. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth financial analysis and market research to support the acquisition of new properties. This role involves evaluating investment opportunities, developing financial models, assessing risks, and preparing comprehensive reports to guide decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong quantitative background, a deep understanding of real estate finance, and a keen eye for identifying value and potential pitfalls. Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis is paramount.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct detailed financial analysis of potential real estate acquisitions, including pro forma development, cash flow projections, and return on investment (ROI) calculations. Perform market research and competitive analysis to understand local market dynamics, property values, and rental rates. Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to evaluate various investment scenarios and sensitivities. Assess the risks and opportunities associated with each potential acquisition, providing clear and concise recommendations. Assist in the due diligence process by reviewing property-related documents, financial statements, and legal contracts. Collaborate with acquisition managers and other stakeholders to refine investment strategies and target markets. Prepare detailed investment memos and presentations for senior management and investment committees. Monitor the performance of existing investments and provide analytical support for asset management decisions. Stay current with real estate market trends, economic indicators, and industry best practices. Utilize various data sources and analytical tools to support investment decisions. Ensure accuracy and integrity of all financial data and reports. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field. An MBA or Master's degree is a strong asset. Minimum of 6 years of experience in real estate financial analysis, investment analysis, or a similar role. Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling techniques. Strong understanding of real estate valuation methods, capital markets, and investment principles. Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines in a remote environment. Experience with real estate data platforms (e.g., CoStar, REIS) is a plus. High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Proactive and results-oriented mindset.
