Reporting to the Software Engineering Director, you will create impact within our Engineering Team, part of Jellyfish Technology Solutions. We take pride in developing innovative, data‑driven products and proprietary technologies that empower our clients and set us apart within the digital industry.

You’ll contribute to the development of our Share of Model solution, a new and forward‑looking technology designed to deliver advanced insights and enhance brand perception. This role offers the opportunity to work on a dynamic roadmap that includes integrating large language models, and advancing our backend data pipelines to support large‑scale data aggregation and analytics. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to design, develop and maintain backend systems and APIs for our Share of Model solution.
• Integrate data solutions into existing systems.
• Implement and optimise data collection and processing pipelines to ensure efficient handling and storage of large datasets.
• Write clean and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards, and conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure high‑quality software delivery.
• Be an escalation point for junior engineers, and support their technical development.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and French.
• Over 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer with strong proficiency in Python and frameworks such as Django or FastAPI.
• Solid understanding of backend development principles and API design.
• Experience with SQL databases, including schema design and query optimisation.
• Understanding of Domain‑Driven Design (DDD) principles.
• Commitment to maintaining high code quality and Test‑Driven Development (TDD).
• When faced with a problem, you collaborate with the appropriate people to evaluate different options and find practical solutions.
