Role Overview:

We are hiring a Senior Python Developer to own the backend services and data pipelines that power Joveo's AI-driven hiring platform at scale. You will make the architectural decisions, set the code quality bar, and mentor the Python engineers on your team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and build production Python services handling high-throughput workloads
• Lead design reviews and define engineering standards for Python codebases
• Own end-to-end delivery of complex backend initiatives across multiple sprints
• Mentor mid-level engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance
• Drive technical debt reduction and long-term platform health initiatives
• Collaborate with ML and data teams to productionize AI-powered features

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Extensive experience building production Python systems at scale
• Deep expertise with modern Python frameworks — FastAPI, Django, or Flask
• Strong knowledge of database design, optimization, and query performance
• Experience with distributed systems, async processing, and message queues
• Proven track record of mentoring engineers and raising team code quality
• Comfort with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) and containerized deployments
