The IT organization of the Ministry of Finance is responsible for and provides ICT facilities. The majority of the applications are currently developed, maintained, and managed in-house in our own data center. In addition to ensuring continuity in the large-scale taxation and collection processes within a solid, stable environment, there is also a strong focus on modernizing the IT landscape. This is done partly internally by utilizing existing expertise, but also by acquiring (ready-made) solutions and expertise from the market.

Job Description

As a software developer, you will be part of our development team, contributing to the development and implementation of planned functionalities. To support the vulnerability management processes within the Tax Administration, a solution has been developed that provides insight into the progress and risks within these processes. The solution uses open-source software with custom components to gather relevant information from source systems. You will work in a small development team, which also handles DevOps tasks. We are looking for an experienced software developer to expand and maintain the custom functionality.

Requirements

Hard Requirements:

• Experience with Graph databases (e.g., Cypher / GraphQL / Neo4j)
• Experience with Kubernetes, GitOps, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in complex development environments with high quality requirements
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, SDLC, and OTAP environments
• Experience with API integrations and data integration
• Python - 2 years
• Kubernetes, GitOps, and CI/CD pipelines - 2 years
• Experience with Scrum/Agile working - 2 years

Wishes:

• Knowledge and experience within the government is a plus.
• Background or experience in Data Science is a plus.
• Experience with security or compliance-driven dashboards is a plus.
