QA Engineer

About the role

We are currently seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our team in Strasbourg, France. The successful candidate will work in a multinational environment on a multitude of tasks supporting our business in implementing and developing solutions for large EU and international institutions and private sector companies in Greece and abroad.

What you will do

• Define the scope of testing within the context of each product and release by collaborating with Test Engineers, defining test approaches and reviewing and writing test scenarios.
• Planning test activities, follow up on progress and approach by ensuring priority alignment inside the team, driving alignment with the involved parties in setting up the environments and tools.
• Prepare assessment of the product quality by reviewing requirements, design documentation, creating the test scenarios, test cases and test data including automation of the test cases.
• Run assessment of the product quality by running tests and reporting on the outcome.
• Continuously assess and look for ways to improve the quality of the product including requirements review and improvement to the testing approach.
• Leverage test analysis and test automation patterns to ensure requirement coverage, fast and reliable test execution.

Technical Skills required

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience for the nature of tasks
• Excellent knowledge of testing standards, methods.
• Hands on experience in creating efficient test approaches, test planning, test scenarios, test case creation and execution.
• Experience in API testing using Postman, Kreya or similar tools.
• Experience using DBs and SQL, containerized solutions and observability tools.
• Experience in writing and editing automated tests.
• Experience with system integration testing.
• Ability to understand business context, define priorities, communicate with technology focused teams and communicate the outcome of test campaigns.
• Defect Management including prioritization of defects and root cause analysis.
• Experience in complex, enterprise system integration.
• Experience in agile software development and testing methodologies
