About the role

Planning, creation, and execution of manual and automated test cases in the area of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and interface development to ensure high software quality in the ERP and omnichannel environment.
Execution of integration, system integration, and maintenance tests across multiple systems and applications in an agile development environment.
Analysis, documentation, tracking, and acceptance of software errors.
Close collaboration with software and QA engineers of adjacent development teams, as well as with Enterprise Architects and QA Platform Engineers to continuously improve the testability, quality, and stability of the integration solutions.

Several years of professional experience as a QA Engineer or Software Engineer in the field of interfaces and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI).
Sound practical experience in software testing and test automation, ideally with Playwright, JUnit, and Karate.
Proficient in Java or a comparable object-oriented programming language.
ISTQB certification is an advantage.
Ideally, experience with modern integration and platform technologies such as SAP BTP, Lobster, Docker, Jenkins, WildFly, JMS, AMQP, and web services (REST/SOAP).
Good knowledge of trade and business processes in common ERP systems, especially SAP.
Strong analytical skills, creativity, and team spirit in solving complex tasks in an integrative, distributed system environment.
Very good communication skills and enjoyment of cross-team and cross-departmental collaboration.
Negotiation-proof German and English skills, both written and spoken.
