We are seeking a Senior QA Analyst to play a key role in ensuring quality across a net-new application currently progressing through its first releases, while also supporting ongoing QA efforts across our existing platform. Working closely with the QA, Product, and Engineering teams, you will contribute to test strategy, execute comprehensive testing, and help evolve QA practices to support both new product development and ongoing platform stability. You will play an important role in balancing speed and quality, supporting rapid release cycles while maintaining a high standard for reliability, security, and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the QA Lead in establishing and evolving QA processes for a net-new application progressing through early releases, contributing to scalable and pragmatic testing practices.
• Ensure quality across both a net-new application and an established platform, balancing new feature validation with ongoing regression and production support needs.
• Rapidly ramp up on new features and modules as they are delivered, ensuring each release is thoroughly validated in a fast-moving, iterative environment.
• Design, write, and maintain test cases in parallel with development, ensuring test coverage evolves alongside product functionality.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing, validating both UI workflows and backend integrations.
• Identify, document, and drive resolution of defects in Jira, collaborating closely with developers through triage and debugging cycles.
• Manage concurrent QA activities across multiple workstreams, balancing test design, execution, and defect tracking without compromising quality.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, validating request/response handling, authentication, and service reliability.
• Contribute to test strategy and coverage decisions, identifying gaps, edge cases, and risk areas early in the development lifecycle.
• Support release readiness by assessing risk, validating deployment candidates, and ensuring production quality standards are met.
• Collaborate closely with Product, and Engineering to ensure quality is embedded throughout development.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tooling, and test coverage, including identifying opportunities for automation where it adds value.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance
• Strong hands-on experience with manual testing in fast-moving Agile environments
• Experience testing new or evolving applications where requirements and features develop iteratively
• Proven ability to write comprehensive test cases while executing tests and managing defects in parallel
• Strong API testing experience using tools such as Postman
• Experience working with bug tracking tools such as Jira
• Experience building and maintaining test documentation
• Strong analytical thinking, multitasking, and time management skills
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and ramp up on complex applications
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams

AI Proficiency & Development Practices

AI is increasingly shaping how quality is built and validated in modern software teams. We expect QA professionals to leverage AI tools thoughtfully to enhance test coverage, efficiency, and overall product quality, while operating within established governance and development standards.

The successful candidate will demonstrate practical experience using AI-assisted tools (e.g., ChatGPT or similar generative AI tools, along with modern testing platforms that incorporate AI/ML capabilities such as Testim or similar platforms) to support testing and quality testing workflows.

This includes:

• Utilizing AI tools to accelerate test case design, exploratory testing, test data generation, and documentation, improving overall testing efficiency and coverage.
• Applying AI to support automation efforts (e.g., generating or refining test scripts) while ensuring outputs are accurate, maintainable, and aligned with existing frameworks.
• Critically evaluating and validating AI-generated outputs (test cases, scripts, queries, etc.) for correctness, edge case coverage, and real-world applicability.
• Exercising strong judgment and avoiding over-reliance on AI, ensuring a human-led, quality-first approach to testing.
• Adhering to security, data privacy, and intellectual property standards when using AI tools, particularly when working with sensitive data or production-like environments.
• Staying informed on emerging AI capabilities in software testing and quality engineering and contributing to team discussions on practical and responsible adoption.
• Sharing learnings and identifying opportunities where AI meaningfully improves testing effectiveness, speed, and defect detection.
