The Commonwealth Group is seeking a Senior Real Estate Accountant to play a key role in a growing, hands-on real estate investment and development platform.

We own and operate ~20 commercial, industrial, and student housing assets across Delaware, Southeastern PA, and Denver—and are actively expanding.

What you’ll do

• Lead and support monthly close across property portfolio
• Review general ledgers and perform variance analysis
• Assist with budgeting, CAM reconciliations, and reporting
• Help improve accounting processes and reporting quality
• Support tax prep and coordination with external accountants
• Assist with AP / AR oversight

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s in Accounting
• 2–5+ years of accounting experience (real estate preferred)
• Strong attention to detail + ability to manage multiple entities
• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
• Interest in growing within a real estate investment platform

Compensation & Benefits

• $85,000 – $90,000 base (depending on experience)
