Our client, a prominent real estate investment firm, is seeking a highly analytical and motivated Senior Real Estate Investment Analyst. This role is critical in evaluating potential real estate acquisitions, developing financial models, and supporting investment decisions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of real estate markets, strong financial modeling skills, and the ability to conduct thorough due diligence. This is an on-site position, requiring the analyst to be present in the office to collaborate with team members and conduct property visits.

Responsibilities

• Analyze potential real estate investment opportunities across various property types (e.g., commercial, residential, industrial).
• Develop comprehensive financial models, including discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, IRR calculations, and sensitivity analyses.
• Conduct thorough due diligence on target properties, including market research, site inspections, and property evaluations.
• Prepare detailed investment memos and presentations for the investment committee.
• Monitor the performance of existing investments and provide regular reports to management.
• Assist in property acquisitions, dispositions, and asset management activities.
• Stay abreast of market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes impacting the real estate industry.
• Identify and evaluate risks and opportunities associated with potential investments.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, and property management teams throughout the investment lifecycle.
• Maintain relationships with brokers, developers, and other industry professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related quantitative field.
• Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate investment analysis, acquisitions, or asset management.
• Proven expertise in developing complex financial models using Excel.
• Strong understanding of real estate valuation methods and investment metrics.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in market research and data analysis tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with ARGUS Enterprise is highly desirable.
• Must be able to work full-time in the office location.
