Your New Company
Our client, a well‑established organization in the corporate and industrial services sector, is seeking an experienced Intermediate Recruiter to support their fast‑paced HR team. This is a 3‑month, in‑person contract based at their Burnaby office, with an immediate start.
Your New Role
As the Intermediate Recruiter, you will partner closely with the HR team to manage a high‑volume requisition load and provide full‑cycle recruitment support. You will oversee active roles, conduct phone screens, coordinate interviews, and leverage AI tools and an ATS to streamline processes. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize effectively, and comfort working in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage 20 active requisitions, including 10 internship roles, with additional openings anticipated.
- Conduct phone screens using a structured template; deliver a high‑quality candidate experience.
- Utilize the Lever ATS for candidate management and workflow tracking.
- Use Meta AI tools for efficient note‑taking and recruitment support.
- Coordinate interviews, communicate with hiring managers, and maintain accurate candidate records.
- Work closely with the HR team to support recruitment planning and prioritization.
- Adapt to a fast‑paced environment with shifting demands and high volumes.
- Represent the organization professionally with both internal stakeholders and external candidates.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- 7+ years of recruitment experience
- Strong experience managing multiple requisitions in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience using an ATS (Lever preferred).
- Ability to learn and leverage new technologies, including AI note‑taking tools.
- Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder‑management skills.
Nice to Haves
- Experience recruiting for both corporate and intern/early‑talent roles.
- Prior exposure to AI‑driven recruitment tools.
- Experience onboarding or coordinating with HR operations teams.
