The Role
This isn't a maintenance role. This is a builder role.
We're hiring a dedicated recruiter to own our sales talent function — primarily Solar and Fiber sales contractors — and build the recruiting machine from the ground up. You'll work closely with the CEO and division heads to identify, screen, vet, and onboard high-performing sales talent. Over time, you'll write the SOPs, hire additional recruiters, and grow into the leader of our recruiting department.
You'll also assist with HR responsibilities — onboarding, compliance, contractor classification, and employee files — to keep us tight as we scale.
What You'll Do
- Own full-cycle recruiting for Sunbright Solar and Sunbright Fiber sales positions (1099 independent contractor population)
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, recruiting events, and proactive outreach
- Screen candidates by phone and in person — vet for character, drive, sales ability, and culture fit
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers, manage offer flow, and execute onboarding logistics
- Recruit and onboard non-sales W-2 employees as needed (technicians, admin, operations)
- Build and continuously improve recruiting SOPs, scorecards, and screening playbooks
- Maintain ATS hygiene, recruiting metrics, and pipeline reporting
- Handle HR generalist responsibilities
- Eventually hire and lead a team of recruiters as the company scales
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
- Demonstrated success recruiting sales talent (D2D, B2B, retail, or similar high-volume sales)
- Strong screening instincts — you can spot a closer on a 15-minute phone call
- Working knowledge of HR fundamentals: I-9, E-Verify, contractor classification, basic employment law
- Ownership mentality — you build systems, you don't just execute someone else's process
- Comfort with high-volume recruiting in a fast-moving environment
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Willing and able to work full-time, in-office, in Orlando, FL
Strongly preferred:
- Bilingual Spanish / English
- 5+ years of recruiting experience
- Prior experience recruiting for solar, fiber, telecom, roofing, HVAC, or other home services verticals
- Experience managing 1099 contractor onboarding (not just W-2 hiring)
- Familiarity with GoHighLevel (GHL), modern ATS platforms, and sourcing tools
Compensation
- Base pay + Performance bonus: Tied to quality of hires (volume gates + per-recruit production thresholds)
- Expected on-target earnings: $85,000 – $100,000 in year one
- Top performers earn $115,000+
