Our client, a premier recruitment consultancy, is seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior Recruitment Consultant to join their dynamic team in Welkom, Free State . This role focuses on sourcing and placing top-tier talent within the challenging and rewarding mining sector. You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from understanding client needs and developing effective sourcing strategies to candidate screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation. Your expertise will be crucial in building and maintaining strong relationships with both clients and candidates, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all parties involved.

Responsibilities include: Developing and executing innovative recruitment strategies to attract high-calibre candidates for mining-related roles, including engineers, geologists, metallurgists, and management positions. Conducting in-depth needs analysis with clients to fully comprehend their organizational structure, technical requirements, and company culture. Proactively sourcing candidates through various channels, including professional networks, job boards, industry events, and direct headhunting. Screening and interviewing candidates to assess technical skills, cultural fit, and career aspirations. Presenting shortlisted candidates to clients with comprehensive interview feedback and market insights. Managing the offer process, including negotiation, background checks, and onboarding support. Building and nurturing long-term relationships with key stakeholders within the mining industry. Staying abreast of industry trends, market intelligence, and best practices in recruitment. Contributing to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes and methodologies. Mentoring junior members of the recruitment team. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in recruitment, preferably within a specialized sector like mining or engineering. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential. You must be results-oriented, resilient, and possess a strong understanding of the South African mining landscape. A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is advantageous.
