About

As a Senior Recruitment Specialist, you will lead the recruitment function, including outreach and partnership-building, to attract talented staff to Broward College. You will work collaboratively with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop customized sourcing and recruiting strategies to generate a pipeline of qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the recruitment function, including outreach and partnership-building to attract talented staff
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop customized sourcing and recruiting strategies
  • Manage a high-volume job requisition load, partnering with stakeholders to execute employee brand, social media presence, and outreach
  • Oversee the hiring process for all College positions, including full-time and part-time advertised and non-advertised positions
  • Provide advice and consultation to administrators, supervisors, and employees on personnel policies, procedures, and compliance with federal and state laws and regulations
  • Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on available role, industry standards, and needs of the college
  • Conduct pre-employment background checks, employment assessments, and reference checks
  • Represent the college at job fairs and community outreach events
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to departments regarding recruitment and staffing issues
  • Prepare metrics to measure success and provide weekly status updates on recruitment and sourcing activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Six years of experience with recruiting and candidate sourcing, preferably within HR or staffing agency environment
  • Experience with Workday Recruiting and LinkedIn Recruiter preferred
  • Experience managing Applicant Tracking HRIS and Workday knowledge preferred
  • Certification in Recruitment preferred
